Why Exercise?

Everytime I work prn down in cardiac and pulmonary rehab I see this sign and I’m reminded of how important it is that we nurses practice what we preach and take care ourselves. At least 30 min a day is all it takes to take a step towards better health! Why not experience the same benefits that our patients to would? Just something to think about for nurses week. As we are “showered” with gifts from coworkers and administration to show their appreciation, need to remember to constantly be good to and appreciate ourselves. I know it sounds so corny be its true! Happy Nurses Week!
