Peanut Butter Protein Bite Recipe

This morning I went grocery shopping and found some protein bites that my local grocer sells. They looked absolutely delicious but were about $12 per ½ pound, so the cheap girl inside of me said “heck no” and decided to come up with my own recipe. It’s basic, quick, and easy and gives you a lot more for less.

 

 

2 scoops of Protein PowderIMAG0798

1 cub of dry quick rolled oats

2 scoops of Protein Powder

1 cup of dry quick rolled oats

1/4 cup of coconut milk, unsweetened

3 Tbs. of Honey

1 Tbs. of semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

1 Tbs. of Reese’s Pieces (optional)

 

 

 

  1. Mix oats with protein powder and set to the side.

2.Mix peanut butter and honey together. Alternate adding coconut milk, oats and protein powder to peanut butter mixture (I suggest using a table mixer instead of manually stirring) until well mixed.

3. Stir chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces into mixture.

4. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Set in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Calories: 109 Protein: 5g Sugar: 4g Carbs: 9 (per bite)
